| Single Bypass Relay

The single bypass relay may be used on negative-earth vehicles which require a simple bypass function on one lamp only (usually the foglight, or the reversig light if adding a 12S installation to an existing 12N installation) for circuit protection or to avoid confusing the bulb-failure warning systems. Do not use this relay on vehicles having modulated* outputs to the rear lamp clusters, as relay chatter or incorrect light function may result. For these vechicles see the smart relay (H52)
*Modulated outputs manifest themselves as low voltages and often combine multiple lamps (brake/tail or fog/tail) into one sincle supply circuit
